Lake Burunge Tented Camp is located just 10 minutes from Tarangire National Park, on private land managed by the local Maasai community. This offers freedom of movement, as well as a variety of different activities. The exciting safaris within the park provide an incredible wildlife experience that you won’t find in most places.
Situated on the shores of Lake Burunge, this small, stunning camp offers quick access to the Tarangire Wildlife Sanctuary, as well as other activities in and around the lake and to the nearby Maasai villages. Accommodations

Near the common area, there are 20 comfortable private tents. Each tent sits on a raised wooden platform and is covered with thatch, which keeps them cool during the hot months. The beds have mosquito nets, and the bathrooms feature hot showers. Each room also has a flush toilet. All tents offer wonderful views of Lake Burunge.

The rooms at this safari lodge are powered by 240V solar energy. They also have a backup generator for when solar power is unavailable.

The main building at Lake Burunge is covered by a thatched roof and features a dining room, a central lounge, and a bar on a raised wooden deck. The elevated location is the perfect spot to enjoy the sunset and watch the sun fade beyond the lake. Guests can also enjoy snacks by the cozy fireplace.
