Ang'ata Tarangire Camp | Authentic Safari Camp in Tarangire (luxury-tented-lodge)
In the heart of Tarangire National Park, overlooking the Tarangire River.
Our newest camp features 8 guest tents, including a 2-tent family unit, a lounge, and a dining tent. All tents have private bathrooms with showers, vanities, and flush toilets. Depending on your preference, you can choose between a double bed, two single beds, or a triple bed. The lounge is the ideal place to meet other travelers and share stories from the day’s safari while enjoying a cup of Tanzanian coffee or tea. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served in the dining tent; we also offer private lunches on the crater floor, prepared daily by our chefs. When the weather permits, a campfire is lit.
Camp Location
Located in the heart of Tarangire National Park, facing the Tarangire River and near the Kuro airstrip, this camp offers a 180-degree view of Tarangire Hill. Just 5 km from the Silale marshlands, where elephants regularly gather by the thousands, Tarangire is also famous for its high concentration of big cats and tree-climbing pythons; even kudus and the very elusive oryx can be spotted here. This is the ideal place to enjoy the savanna in all its splendor. The Kudos airstrip is 1 km from the camp.
Around the Camp
Here you can go on night safaris and walking safaris accompanied by an armed ranger, take a hot-air balloon ride over the baobab forest, or simply enjoy a private lunch or dinner surrounded by nature.
